Answers for your common questions

Our server network connects to your service (e.g. a website) at specified times and checks if it is working properly. With extensive configuration, you can very precisely define what exactly you want to check. You can choose from the following options:
  • Host / Port - allows you to check if a specific service is running and visible on the network (e.g. a mail server),
  • Ping - allows you to monitor if the server selected by you is online,
  • HTTP - this option allows you to precisely set both the request sent to the WWW server and the response expected by you.
Setting the selected parameters in the management panel takes a few minutes. After adding monitoring, the rest is on our shoulders. We'll make sure you're the first to know if your services stop working properly.

You don't need to set up or configure anything additionally to use VirtualEyes, which is why it's so easy to use. Our servers, when sending requests to your services, simulate the behavior of real clients. Just remember that the service you want to monitor must be publicly available (have a public IP address and/or an active and correctly configured domain). You only need to provide the server/website address, optionally the port (depending on the selected option) and you're done.

Of course! Because you don't have to interfere with the configuration of your website or server, our service behaves exactly like your real client. Regardless of the type of failure, we will inform you immediately through the selected channel (e.g. email, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams and others). You can set up monitoring as often as you think is appropriate. In the event that we find that your service is not responding properly, we will check it again to be 100% sure that a failure has occurred.

A website or server failure can lead to financial losses and a loss of trust. If a website is unavailable, our customers cannot use it - this means they cannot make purchases, book services, or simply obtain important information. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly monitor the availability of the website in order to identify and resolve the problem as soon as possible, before users experience it.

Another important factor is the loading time, which affects the user experience. According to Google, 53% of users will leave a website if it takes longer than 3 seconds to load. Long loading times can contribute to high bounce rates, low engagement, and consequently, customer loss.

Using popular tools such as Wordpress or PrestaShop allows you to launch a website, blog, or online store relatively easily and quickly. Unfortunately, the popularity of such services is also their downside - such services are most often of interest to hackers. Regular monitoring of the website allows for the quick detection and neutralization of attacks, which in turn allows us to keep data and information absolutely safe, protecting us from the negative effects of an attack such as a decrease in reputation, but also legal or financial consequences.
